HP Walk

Make It Matter 

 I took part in the HP Walk race today morning . This is the my 1st ever walk race i joined before. What a excitement! & i do learn some lesson as well.i have ability on cross country runs hence i decided to join this race but my assumption was wrong .  With no training at all other than usual morning walk from HP car park toward working place , i realized today that walking is much more tougher & difficult then running uuhhh . It was an 5km walk around Cyberjaya area , the races flagged off around 8am in the morning , up too 300 Hp employees took part .When the race started i tried to walk as everyone until i saw one of the participant put a gap on us,he looks like professional walker then i decided to chase him by walking as fast as i can using the same technique he using to walk . Half way of the race ,eventho i do not menage reach him but i do have made some distance from others participant . I reached the finish line overall 3rd but as Winner for my category (Male u30)never in my wildest dreams I would have believed that I will be participating in a walk race and WIN IT!!It just goes to show that i really do underestimate my selves and what i am capable of. What a wonderful experience it was. !!!

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. This ceremony is performed during the odd months of pregnancy mostly during the seventh month for the expectant mother and celebrates the joy of the upcoming motherhood and ensures the welfare of both the mother and the baby inside her womb. Mostly women are invited for this function. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We do some cooking our self and especially my wife she do mee-goreng by herself - and we brought some kuih-Muihs and cakes. Combating Global Warming

Two sides of the world We all hear about Global Warming, but know very little about how to stop or minimize it. We are told to use less energy, electricity, fuel etc. but are not shown the resources on how to, effectively, perform these tasks. Increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere is known as global warming,However with the signs being so evident still we are showing no signs of transforming. (sometimes the green planet) .. but water is the source of life .. without water there would have been nothing.
