Guessing time





We are still guessing,"We were always thinking 'This is it!' Every time, though we are still waiting and made wait by none other then our new family member - , it's nerve-wreaking! When my wife felt 1st quite painful contractions 2 weeks ago , I thought it is labor day but soon turn out to be "False Alarm" . That contractions-scare happens on 36-week of pregnancy.

The following week (37 weeks), My wife didn't feel any pains or contractions. She had another painful contractions on Tuesday , but we decided to wait at home to monitor if its followed by more pain but seems its disappear and only come time to time .We went for checkup this week wed (week 38 of pregnancy), The doc stated the pain might due to food poison and not labor pain .The doctor later examine my wife stomach to monitor the baby's heartbeat and mentioned that there's still long time for labor to start since the cervix has yet to ripen . The baby's position is currently engaged but not showing any signs of thinning. I felt disappointed.

I am feeling very exited to meet my little one but looks like they'll be no sign of labor anytime soon. Her due date is given on 19 Feb, which is 11 days to go. My father always says we cant predict when will rain falls and Labor will arrive hehe..WAITING Waiting waiting...

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. This ceremony is performed during the odd months of pregnancy mostly during the seventh month for the expectant mother and celebrates the joy of the upcoming motherhood and ensures the welfare of both the mother and the baby inside her womb. Mostly women are invited for this function. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We do some cooking our self and especially my wife she do mee-goreng by herself - and we brought some kuih-Muihs and cakes. Two sides of the world We all hear about Global Warming, but know very little about how to stop or minimize it. We are told to use less energy, electricity, fuel etc. but are not shown the resources on how to, effectively, perform these tasks. Increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere is known as global warming,However with the signs being so evident still we are showing no signs of transforming. (sometimes the green planet) .. but water is the source of life .. without water there would have been nothing.
