The 25th of May – Special Day

The 25th of May is a very special day for all Liverpool supporters. Istanbul ’05 -possibly – no, make that definitely – the most celebrated occasions of Liverpool FC’s history – occurred on this magical date. It will be on top of the ‘Best Ever’ list for every fan like me .

They say you always remember your first time. Well the mighty reds, I and millions over the world would mark this as unforgettable day for us as the images are still fresh in super-colour in my mind. I thought nothing could ever surpass it, or even get close.

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. This ceremony is performed during the odd months of pregnancy mostly during the seventh month for the expectant mother and celebrates the joy of the upcoming motherhood and ensures the welfare of both the mother and the baby inside her womb. Mostly women are invited for this function. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We do some cooking our self and especially my wife she do mee-goreng by herself - and we brought some kuih-Muihs and cakes. After a few days, life went back to normal and all the monkeys who had served as warriors in his army returned to their home in the forest. Two sides of the world We all hear about Global Warming, but know very little about how to stop or minimize it. We are told to use less energy, electricity, fuel etc. but are not shown the resources on how to, effectively, perform these tasks. Increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere is known as global warming,However with the signs being so evident still we are showing no signs of transforming.
