The beauty of a sunset ....


Last week when I went out I saw the most beautiful sunset. I took this picture and it really doesn't show the colors that were in the sky. I found myself just wanting to stare at it.I spent the afternoon laying on the couch and it was wonderful.

Valaikappu(Indian bangle wearing ceromony)

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. This ceremony is performed during the odd months of pregnancy mostly during the seventh month for the expectant mother and celebrates the joy of the upcoming motherhood and ensures the welfare of both the mother and the baby inside her womb. Mostly women are invited for this function. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We do some cooking our self and especially my wife she do mee-goreng by herself - and we brought some kuih-Muihs and cakes. A moment of my life.

@@....## Someone said "The most precious thing when you receive something special from someone is a moment of your life, coz once u receive it its your's forever." How true !! Every moment we pass, we pass it away from our lives. And get a moment closer to nice. And if life is considered to be the most precious thing on this planet, then, arent the moments that unite to to make us a life, are the paramount if we recieve something wonderful from someone we considered "a special one in our life".. It was My best birthday ever in entire my 25yrs life..i feel like i am on top of this world that day..& consider myself so lucky to have such amazing person around me.Well I will have many more birthdays to celebrate and I hope they are all memorable like this!! it was the most beautiful feelin i could had!!!so cherish and enjoy till the time it lasts!!!

Hanuman and Sita Mother necklace

Rama and Sita residing in Hanuman's heart Great rejoicings and festivities followed the return of Sri Rama to Ayodhya and his crowning as the King. After a few days, life went back to normal and all the monkeys who had served as warriors in his army returned to their home in the forest.
