Liverpool have the advantage after holding Arsenal to a draw in the Champions League quarter-final, first leg at The Emirates.Emmanuel Adebayor headed Arsenal in front in powerful fashion from Robin van Persie’s cross after 23 minutes.Arsenal’s lead lasted only three minutes before Steven Gerrard set up Dirk Kuyt to score from close range.

Liverpool held firm and take the upper hand into next week’s second leg at Anfield. They will hope the traditional adrenalin-fuelled Anfield atmosphere will again be the key component for another famous victory next Tuesday.Arsenal will witness the power of Anfield.

Typicall european permance from lads.Compact,energetic counter attacking syle..But second half we played too deep.

Most importantly we got an away goal anvantage here..looking foward to the return league at Anfield..

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We are told to use less energy, electricity, fuel etc. but are not shown the resources on how to, effectively, perform these tasks. Increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere is known as global warming,However with the signs being so evident still we are showing no signs of transforming.
