Moon will be closest to earth
In astrological terms, that position is known as a super moon or super extreme moon that is believed by some as a sign of disaster for the living beings on earth.But the perigee the moon along with the full moon is not a major cause of the disaster, but it could be a trigger reinforcing effect of other factors. That is, if there is no indication of bad weather on the coast or no accumulation of energy in earthquake-prone areas and areas prone to volcanic eruption, there is nothing to worry about with the position of perigee in conjunction with the full moon.

My wife's Valaikappu was held yesterday on 9th Dec 2012. The day actually fall on our 2nd year of our wedding anniversary, My wife was 30 weeks pregnant at that time.Vallaikappu is a combination of two words - vallai - meaning round (as in bangle) and kappu - meaning protection. This ceremony is performed during the odd months of pregnancy mostly during the seventh month for the expectant mother and celebrates the joy of the upcoming motherhood and ensures the welfare of both the mother and the baby inside her womb. Mostly women are invited for this function. The expectant mother is made to wear a lot of bangles mostly glass ones of red and green colors and the sound of these bangles are supposed to reach the womb. We do some cooking our self and especially my wife she do mee-goreng by herself - and we brought some kuih-Muihs and cakes. We are told to use less energy, electricity, fuel etc. but are not shown the resources on how to, effectively, perform these tasks. Increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere is known as global warming,However with the signs being so evident still we are showing no signs of transforming.
